The Container Reset

For founder-led containers where the work matters, but the system around it is no longer moving cleanly

There are moments when the issue is no longer contained to the founder. The work has promise. The people are capable. And still, progress requires too much orchestration.

The Container Reset is a 4–6 week advisory engagement for founder-led teams, communities, practitioner groups, and client-facing groups where the leader is done being the only thing holding movement together.

Starting at $5,500
When to bring this work in

When one hard conversation is not enough.

This is for situations where the strain has become part of the group pattern. You can keep naming the symptoms, but the same shape keeps coming back.

  • The team needs too much orchestration to stay aligned around the work.
  • Nothing moves unless the founder or strongest personality steps in.
  • A community has become dependent on the leader instead of learning to hold its own growth.
  • Clients, members, or practitioners engage with the ideas but do not translate them into change.
  • The group feels strained, misaligned, or divided in a way people struggle to name.
  • Everyone is talking about symptoms while the real constraint sits deeper in the system.

What I mean by container

A container might be a team, community, practitioner group, client-facing cohort, or another founder-led group with shared stakes through which the work is being carried.

This is not for a random group of founders comparing notes. It is for real containers with real responsibility to the work.

Designed to address

When the group itself is now part of the pattern.

  • A founder or community leader carrying too much energy, structure, or emotional weight.
  • A group that appears aligned but is not operating from the same reality.
  • A community organized around dependence, passivity, or the leader’s presence.
  • Stalled growth, friction, or confusion that keeps returning after conversations or role changes.
  • Unclear exchange between leader and team, business and customer, or facilitator and community.
How it works

The engagement

Initial systems intensive

We begin by reading the group, the visible symptoms, the key relationships, and the places where movement is constrained.

Weekly guided sessions

Across 4–6 weeks, we work with what is surfacing in real time, name patterns, test interventions, and support deliberate response.

Pattern tracking and intervention design

I help identify where strain, dependence, role confusion, or imbalance may be shaping the container, then translate that read into practical changes.

Leader debriefs

Where useful, I debrief directly with the founder or leader to support decision-making and integration.

Closing advisory memo

You receive a memo outlining core themes, what shifted, recommended interventions, and what the system appears to need next.

What can change

Less drag. Cleaner ownership. More honest movement.

Clearer boundaries of responsibility.
More honest ownership inside the group.
Conversations that were being avoided become possible.
Less emotional and strategic drag on the founder.

Who this is for

Founder-led containers with shared stakes: teams, communities, practitioner groups, or client-facing groups where the dynamics of the system directly affect what becomes possible.

What this is not

Not a workshop, mastermind, generic team facilitation, or therapy. It is for groups that share responsibility to a real body of work.

Scope and pricing

Starting at $5,500

The standard Container Reset includes an initial systems intensive, weekly guided sessions across 4–6 weeks, pattern tracking, leader debriefs as needed, and a closing advisory memo.

If the scope expands to include a larger group, in-person delivery, or more complex system involvement, pricing may shift accordingly.

When the container itself has become part of the problem, more effort is rarely the answer.
